I wanted to create a feature wall in my alfresco area. I decided to use 2 x louvre doors which a friend was throwing away. I painted the doors and placed them in between my hedges using cable ties.
Wow, I would have never thought to use louvres in such a manner @marilynwinn.
What gave you the idea to do that? Oddly enough, it just... works! I love it. It adds a tonne of interest and looks terrific.
Great job, and thanks for sharing.

That looks cool @marilynwinn .... and I mean literally cool and pleasant to sit by, and it also offers a softer surface than the timber fence. I imagine that the white doors will reflect a little light back into the area too. Possibly just as much as the darker fence would have, so no light lost.
Great job, very inspiring, thanks for sharing it with us.

Amazing! Your courtyard looks so good, it's a great idea to use the screens instead of just paint the fence.
That looks fantastic. What a tranquil inviting area! We’ll done.
Thank you I can't wait to now style my outdoor area to complete the space.
Thank you. It really does create a relaxed atmosphere.
I completely agree. I really wanted to do something unique.
Thank you. It really does light up the space indeed. Thanks for your kind message.
