Re: Any tips for removing paint spots from timber?
Hello @AdamK1
Thank you very much for sharing your question about removing paint spots from timber. In order to give our members a better idea of the paint spot damage, would it be possible for you to post a photo of the timber furniture? This will allow our members to make an assessment of how much paint has gone onto the furniture. We can then make recommendations on how to proceed.
We look forward to seeing the pictures of your timber furniture.

Re: Any tips for removing paint spots from timber?
Hi @AdamK1,
Please let me know if you need a hand uploading photos of your timber planter box so we can see what you are working with and provide some suggestions on next steps. It will also be important to know whether the timber currently has any sort of coating on it.
Thanks,
Jason

Apologies for the delay, please see images attached.
My wife tried to scrub it with sugar soap, but it;s taken the coating off, so I think we will have to sand it back before recoating.

Re: Any tips for removing paint spots from timber?
Hello @AdamK1
Thank you for posting those photos of your raised garden bed. Unfortunately, the sugar soap has scrubbed away both the paint and the cover of the panels. I believe your assessment of its current condition is correct, it will need a new coat of paint. I would have suggested using a scraper to try and carefully scrape off the paint splash, but it would have eventually needed to be repainted due to the paint cracking at the bottom.
Please keep us updated with your progress, we look forward to seeing your raised garden re-painted and ready for use.
Eric
