The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
After I purchased my house, I renovated my outdoor alfresco to make it more useful. Everyone knows Melbourne weather. If you have a covered alfresco it is almost useless 8 months of a year. I covered the alfresco with glass panel with aluminium frame which is under the structure. It’s now like a sunroom. I used that as another lounge. Unfortunately I recently sold the house.
Hi @amitav,
First, let me extend a warm welcome from the Bunnings Workshop community! It is wonderful you have decided to join and share your alfresco to sunroom project with us. I am sure the new owners are very happy with the work you have done. You'll find Workshop to be a great source of inspiration and advice on all things DIY and garden, as well as, articles on our member's projects like our top 10 most popular outdoor projects.
Many of our community members are inspired by others' projects and will want to recreate them. How did you transform your alfresco into a sunroom? What steps did you take? I would also love to learn more about the artwork panelling you used on your fence, what are they made of?

Hi Amitav,
This is exactly what we’re planning to build. Did you do a video on how you built it or what supplies did you use?
