I have a passage locket and the bedroom door does not have a large hole to install a snib lock or key lockset. Is there a lockset that i can use that doesn't require drilling the larger hole.
Hi @David12,
Thank you for your question and I apologise for the delayed response.
Some door handle manufacturers ask for a large hole through the door that will accommodate the bolts and the spindle through the same hole.
Others will have a central hole with two smaller holes around it that the connecting bolts go through.
If you currently have a central hole with two smaller holes around it like this, a lot of entrance sets can still be used.
Most modern entrance sets do not have a large central body like this one.
As long as you purchase one without this large central body, there shouldn't be any issues.
Let me know if this answers your question or if you need further clarification.
