Wow had a wall between two doors in our lounge which was difficult to use effectively. Initially we had furniture there but it intruded into the walking space. We have a lot of 'stuff' we like to share so needed somewhere to display it, finished wall units would have cost us a fortune. My husband decided to make something himself, when we went to Bunnings for timber we stumbled across the cube storage range which just happened top fit perfectly. We purchased three of the larger 4x4 units and three 4x2. After constructing the units, we glued them together and finished them off with skirting board at the bottom and moulding at the top.

We made footings for the shelves to rest on so that they would be up off the floor. We put the units together.
After constructing all the units, we put them together on the wall.
We then put skirting bopard at the base and constructed moulding to complete the finished look at the top.
We also purchased a few drawers and cupboard doors from the range to add a bit of variety and to store and hide paperwork and other mess.
Hello @VikkiArthur
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us and thanks for sharing your wall storage project.
What a clever use of the Flexi Storage Clever Cube. I've never seen it assembled in such a large number. Breaking up the look with doors and drawers is just inspired. It gives it that custom look without the custom effort. What paint did you use to on the front edge of the cabinetry? It really makes it stand out.
Many thanks for sharing.
Eric
Hi,
It was a colour called Almond Paste which we used on the skirting and architraves throughout our house.
