Upcycled an older style wardrobe and a free small drawer set.
1. Sanded both furniture pieces and washed over to remove dust.
2. When dry, gave both pieces 2 coats of undercoat, drying and light sanding in between coats.
3. Using exterior paint for a stronger finish, applied 2 coats, with light sanding in between coats.
4. Applied the opshop wallpaper using wood glue, to the centre panel and drawers on the wardrobe, and to the top and draw fronts of the small drawer set.
5 Sealed all the wallpaper with a 70/30 mix of wood glue to water, applying 2 coats.

Your upcycled wardrobe and drawers look terrific. Love your choice of wallpaper. Do you have any "Before" photos of your dated wardrobe and drawers so we can get an idea of the transformation?
Many thanks for sharing this project and look forward to seeing what you tackle next.

Picture of the wardrobe and it's drawers before upcycling, the wallpaper was from the local opshop😊
Hello @mylucylove1
Thanks for sharing your upcycled wardrobe cabinet with drawers. It's a fantastic transformation and the wallpaper really gives it such a wonderful personality. The white paint has really modernized the look and feel of this cabinet. The bright colour you've chosen has really made it stand out. Would it be possible for you to post a photo of the inside of the cabinet as well?
Again, thank you for sharing such an awesome project.
