We had a very dysfunctional space as our walk in robe. Nothing fit into hang space, shelving was built in weird sizes, lacked a lot of practical space.
so we pushed back into garage to steal a garage cupboard, and pushed slightly out into entryway to steal another small cupboard. And the end result is pleasing.
*We had to re plasster walls and then repaint. (Used Dulux wash n wear paint in natural white.)
*we laid hybrid flooring from Bunnings

ikea pax was only wardrobe that would fit space.

Plastering tools
paint and painting accessories
Ryobi reciprocator saw

Before the demo
We started by pulling everything out, to remove back and side walls for demo.
this is pic of before
we started at the back wall and worked to the front. After lining walls, we sanded and repainted walls/ ceiling.
Then layer hybrid floor before robe inserts began.
section at a time it came together.
electrical was hooked up as we went.
final touches were directional lights from Bunnings to give more light.
What a sensational result you've achieved there, @Christie78. I trust you're thrilled with the finished project, as it looks amazing and so much more functional. I love how you've made the best use of a less than optimal layout.
Well done, and many thanks for sharing.
