Hi all.
I recently finished a bookshelf project for my daughter. It's a Montessori themed bookshelf I made using plywood. Here's all the progress and the final product.
Routed and sanded down the edges to soften the whole bookcase and make it kid friendly.
Each shelf if exactly the same replicated 3 times.
Sketch of the initial idea.
Cheers all.
Lovely work as always Rufaro (@diy_hausdesigns). What a fantastic addition to your daughter's bedroom.
Many thanks for sharing your creativity with the community.

That's sensational, Rufaro (@diy_hausdesigns)! I've always loved Montessori styled play equipment. I believe it's the pure functionality that I enjoy, and this bookshelf embodies that theme well.
You've done an excellent job, and the result speaks volumes of the care you've taken.

Seriously @diy_hausdesigns i love this, just a beautiful way to present Childrenâs books !! đ„°
Thanks @Jason
I really enjoyed working on this one đ
Thanks @MitchellMc
I've always appreciated the functionality and aesthetics of it all. I think it gives kids a chance to she how things actually work, with joints and edges and all the natural patterns.
In saying that, building it is less forgiving which was a lesson in patience and trusting the process !
Thanks @mich1972
She seems to like crawling up to it and pulling down books so I can't complain haha!
Looks great! đ
It has a nice 'library' look to it.
Anything that entices children to books - is a wonderful thing.
@diy_hausdesigns I follow you on Instagram and I love what you do !!!!!đ
