Hi There,
I bought handles to replace on all the doors in my house. The existing handles are random types and not uniform.
Most of them came off easily because they had screws but for some reason I can’t seem to work out how these come off! Any help would be appreciate. Thank you,
Dogman

Hello @Dogman
Generally speaking, most doorknobs have a cover plate you see in front of the door handle itself. I suggest using a flat head screwdriver to lift the cover plate off. If it is not a lift up type it could be a screw in type which I suggest twisting anticlockwise to remove the cover plate. Once you have the cover plate off you should be able to see the mounting screws of the door knob.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks Eric! Now that I knew what to look for screwing it open worked. Thanks again.
Hi @Dogman
I'm glad to hear you got the cover off. My best advice is to always do a test fitting before you permanently screw the new door knob in place.
