Thank you for your question about repairing high gloss melamine furniture and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you join us.
I'd suggest taking the chip that has come off in store with you, grabbing some Builders Bog, a plastic scraper, a sanding sponge, a cheap paint brush and having the team at the Paint Desk do a quick colour match on the chip so you can grab a small pot of matching paint.
Once you're home, brush the chipped section to remove any loose material, mix up the Builders Bog following the manufacturer's instructions and apply it with the plastic scraper to fill the chipped area. Allow the Builders Bog to dry and then sand smooth with the sanding sponge before painting.
