How to remove stacker screen sliding doors to replace fly screen?

I've watched YouTube vids on how to remove single sliding screen doors, but can't find info on stackers??

Re: removing stacker screen sliding doors to replace fly screen

Hi @KAS62,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

Can you upload some photos of the doors and the frame at the top and bottom corners of the runner?

Let me know if you need a hand uploading images. I'm happy to help if required.

Doors like this are usually removed by lifting them up and angling the bottom of the door out of the track. There is likely a point within the track where this is possible. It could have a bracket or door stop in place that prevents it from happening by mistake, but it's hard to tell without seeing it.

Once you've uploaded some photos, I'm happy to assist further.

Jacob

Thank you. I'm more interested in how the 2 screen doors join together, I'm assuming there must be some mechanism that keeps them together. Will take pics tomorrow and upload.

Re: removing stacker screen sliding doors to replace fly screen

Hi @KAS62,

I can't say exactly how your stacker doors operate but once you've uploaded some images, I'm happy to do some research or provide insight based on my prior experience.

I'll wait to see what your photos show.

Jacob
