Hi everyone,
I live on the 3rd floor, and there's a lot of wind. I currently use a Swivel Clip to attach a flyscreen to the window frame, but it doesn’t hold very securely. I'm considering drilling two holes—one in the window frame and one in the flyscreen—and using galvanized tie wire to secure the flyscreen to the frame. However, I feel like this is just a temporary fix and it won't look great.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Hi @HaoNguyen,
How many swivel clips are on the frame? Typically, four would be required to secure it well. If you have less than four, it might be worth adding some additional clips. There's also a butterfly version that might provide a more secure hold.
If you can let us know a little more about why the current clips are not holding the frame securely, that would assist us in providing solutions. As an example, are they falling down and not gripping the frame?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
