How to build a corner sofa bed in a caravan?

I have just pulled everything out of my caravan i wanted to put a corner sofa bed where the old bed was.

So it gave us more room but I'm not sure if I can put a sofa bed in the van.

Need some suggestions please and tips

Re: How to build a corner sofa bed in a caravan?

Hi @carolbradford1 when I did my first caravan reno, I wanted 2 single beds at the front but to also allow it to become a double bed should the need arise. I followed instructions from Deep Red Motorhome's build here and modified them to suit my needs. I hope the below images help as something similar could be achieved with a corner lounge.

Kind regards

Shelley

Re: How to build a corner sofa bed in a caravan?

Hi @carolbradford1

That's an excellent suggestion from @twocutekelpies in regards to an extending sofa bed. Depending on how much space you have and the kind of layout you had in mind, I believe the extending bed technique can be applied to your project especially if you want to be able to put the corner sofa away.

However, a few photos will definitely help us get a better idea of the space you're working with.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
