How to build a bench seat with storage?

Hi i want to make some bench seats with storage in our living room for toys and in our garage for shoes and bags. Im wanting the bench seats to take atleast 250kg so several people can sit on it at once. Im wondering if there is a tutorial for this? Im just starting to DIY but are keen to learn.

Both of these bench seats would be capable of numerous people sitting on them at any one time, but if you are concerned, you could always make alterations to their designs to include more structural supports.
