DIY industrial desk with storage

While kids were remote learning we realised having 3 kids, laptops, books etc on the dining table wouldn’t work. Since my eldest needed the most room and some space from the younger 2, and with everything remotely resembling a desk sold out - I decided to make my own.

Using the laminated Pine panel 1200 x 600 (Stained with classic grey and walnut), 3 x 700mm black round furniture legs, 2 x 100mm  25mm square legs and 2 cubed storage shelf, I was able to put this together pretty quickly. The legs are adjustable so easy to stabilise on uneven floors. Plus easy to take it apart so I could carry it upstairs and set it back up wherever required.

Your Ingenuity never ceases to amaze me! Many thanks for sharing you unique approach to building this desk.

Are these the products you used to construct the desk, if not, perhaps you could update us on the products used so other members could make a similar desk? I don't believe I could find a pine laminated panel in a similar finish and the Flexi cube I've found appears to be higher than yours.

Hi Mitchell,

                  Yep they are all correct except the cube storage which we already had. Here is a photo of the items I used. The panel I used for the desk was the pine (this one is hevea). I stained the desk to match her timber shelves and book shelf. Hope this helps
