Materials
Tools
- Gilly's 200ml Clear Carnauba Polish
- Large branch
- Tree stump slice
- Hemp cord

Steps
12345
Step 1
1/5- With the chainsaw cut any unwanted branches and create a smooth bottom to be able to glue it onto the stump.
- Also cut the stump so it has a flat top and bottom
Next Step
Step 2
2/5- Clean the tree branch and stump removing any bark
- Sand them both to a smooth finish (optional, can leave them for a more rustic look)
Previous StepNext Step
Step 3
3/5- Drill a hole through the centre of the stump and approximately 100mm into the centre of the tree branch, ensuring it's large enough to accommodate the long screw.
- Then, drill a larger hole halfway through the stump. This will allow the screw to penetrate the branch deeply and remain concealed beneath the stump.
Previous StepNext Step
Step 4
4/5- Place glue on the bottom of the tree branch and screw the tree branch onto the stump through the bottom of the stump
Previous StepNext Step
Step 5
5/5- Use Gillie's carnauba wax to seal the branch and stump (give it 2-3 coats)
- Once dry attach the cord to the branch by creating a knot and attach the lamp shade
- That's it! Enjoy your beautiful new lamp.
