Re: Christmas toys - wooden firetrucks and a pirate ship
Wonderful @kel. Always lovely to see traditional toys still being made by hand. I'm sure the kids who receive these will really treasure them.

Re: Christmas toys - wooden firetrucks and a pirate ship
@kel thats amazing.
I'm not so good with my hands, but like you, I've been spending time on projects as gifts.
I've built some 3d stuff (ovoids, spheroids and flexi toys) to give as presents, an one huge 3D tugboat.
But your stuff is simply fantastic.
Do you find that people appreciate this more than the "Oh, just give me a gift voucher" approach that has been the trend?

Re: Christmas toys - wooden firetrucks and a pirate ship
@Walter , thanks Walter,I think the grandparents are more impressed by the wooden toys than the kids because they see the amount of effort that goes into making them.also I think when you give someone a present ,as opposed to a gift voucher, you really get to experience a genuine reaction , which really is the enjoyment of giving.
cheers kel
