Re: can i paint the MGP10 H2 treated timber

Hello @alok17

Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your balustrade.

H2-treated timber is designed for interior framing and protected areas, as it is treated to resist termites but not prolonged moisture exposure. In contrast, H3-treated timber is more robust for outdoor use, as it is treated to withstand weather conditions, moisture, and fungal decay. For an outdoor balustrade, H3 treated timber is the better choice to ensure durability and longevity. Can H3 timber be painted? Yes, it can be painted.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
