I have been renovating a bedroom recently, I originally made these CD shelves, that were ok, however I decided to make a different style. These CD's are for display not storage, (my grandson likes to collect CD's).
Materials used.
The horizontal timber used was 42mm x 12mm Tassie Oak.
The vertical timber used was 42mm x19mm Tassie Oak.
Polyurethane glue.
Two coats of satin clear coat varnish.
Original style.
New CD display
Hi @JoeAzza
What a beautiful CD rack. I was wondering how it was holding the CD's up. It was only later on when I saw one of your photos that you had made a channel for the case to sit into. I'm sure your grandson loves the new display case. It certainly is very different from your usual CD case shelf. I like the fact that it doesn't intrude into the room like a regular shelf. Not only is it space-saving, but is a great way to display your CD collection.
Thank you for sharing this amazing CD display rack, we look forward to seeing your next creation.
