Not bad for a total novice!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Debs2. It's fantastic to have you join us and many thanks for sharing your project.
That's an amazing effort for a total novice! You should be really proud of the results as it is quite the accomplishment to construct something with your own two hands.
Those pailings have a great finish to them. Did you varnish them? If so, did you need to sand them first to achieve a smooth finish?
