Hi I have a devanti benchtop dishwasher I want to connect to my kitchen faucet (female, mixer, 1nch opening without aerator). I'd like some sort of diverter so I can flip a switch and still use my kitchen sink tap as normal when needed. Is this possible
Hi @Jade34,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
I'd suggest having a look through How to connect a benchtop dishwasher to a tap?

Hey Jacob,
I did check it out but I didn't want to clip off the set up every time I want to use the kitchen tap and I wanted it to be all Chrome still.
I did figure out another set up (I have attached photos of what I bought and where I got it from)
There is a small drip leak from the top of the tap where the aerator Adaptor attaches to the tap when it is on full but the dishwasher isn't using the water, is there a way to fix this?
I have used plumbers tape and a washer on the inside and outside it did improve but it didn't completely fix it.
(Also this isn't in the set up yet but I bought a hex socket cp 15mm [from bunnings] and another Spout adapter and Aerator adaptor to add a Aerator so the water that comes out the bottom end is like a normal kitchen tap but haven't found a aerator that attaches to the 13mm Male Adaptor or the 13 mm female Spout adapter)
- Aerator Adaptor Male to Male 13mm (local plumbing store)
- Spout Adaptor for Hand Shower 13mm (local plumbers but bunnings has one Kinetic dishwasher adapter)
- Kinetic Chrome Handspray Diverter (bunnings)
- Bush screwed brass 20mm x 15mm chrome (local plumbers but bunnings has one)
- Brasshards 15mm Chrome Plated Brass Hex Socket (from bunnings not in set up yet)
attached to the tap (plumbers tape on both ends and washer inside the tap and outside on the aerator)
attached to Aerator (plumbers tape on the Spout and washer inside the spout)
Female 1/2" inlet attached Spout ( washer inside the female inlet, plumbers tape on both male outlets )
Attached to the 1/2" male bsp outlet opposite the Handel (washer on the outside and plumbers tape on the male end then attached to the dishwasher hose)
(not pictured in set up yet)
