Which grout for regrouting splashback?

Hi all, hope your all having a fabulous evening

So I’m doing a DIY to the kitchen splash back by removing the grout and regrouting. If this still looks unfortunate, then I’ll take out the tiles, repair the wall, and put new tiles in.

I would like to know what grout at Bunnings I should use?  Bought the Dunlop coloured flexible grout but after some research it appears I need coloured sanded grout because some of the grout lines are more than 8mm. Which product would be suitable to achieve a solid regrout? Pictures below for reference

Re: Which grout for regrouting splashback?

Hello @RT

If most of the gaps are more than 8mm then I suggest using Dunlop 15kg Mid Grey Wide Joint Grout. It is rated for use on larger tile gaps up to 50mm. The wide joint grout doesn't have a lot of colour choice, if anything they go even darker grey. Using the Dunlop 1.5kg Flexible Coloured Grout past its recommended gap coverage is not recommended. It will either crack or shrink too much and fall out.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
