My local Bunnings store sell bench top boards but are hesitate to cut sink holes, so how?
Hi @MaTH,
Thanks for your question.
The Bunnings timber cutting service is simply to assist customers to get materials safely home. Unfortunately the team is not able to make precision cuts with their equipment. You'd need to do them by hand with a jigsaw or circular saw. Here's a helpful step-by-step guide: How to create a cutout for sinks and cooktops.
Alternatively, if you have not ordered the benchtop yet, you can talk to the helpful team at the Special Orders desk about creating a custom order.
Another option if you do not want to attempt this yourself is to enlist the services of a tradesperson through sites like Hipages and Airtasker.
All the best,
Jason
