How to secure flange against the wall?

Hi all,

I'm not able to get this flange to stay plush against the tiles, is it to do with the way I've installed it or do I need to something else?IMG_0424.JPGIMG_0425.JPG

Re: How to secure flange against the wall

Hello @rosharch

Thanks for sharing your question about your tapware flange. This is one of those cases where the spindle body is protruding too far out of the wall. Generally, the installer would take into account the distance of the fittings in relation to the tile, tile adhesive and plasterboard. If too much space is provided this will prevent the flange from reaching the tile wall. To take up the gap, I suggest installing a Kinetic 3/4" BSP 10mm Rise Chrome Cover Plate.

It might be necessary to use a bit of silicone to keep the cover plate in place as it has a bigger hole in the middle, but once it's in position you can then put the large flange over it. Please make sure to do a test fit to make sure that it covers the gap.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

Thanks Eric, I'll give the larger plate a go. Cheers
