How to seal gap between rangehood and wall?

Hello,

We recently replaced the ducted rangehood at home and we now have a gap between the rangehood and the wall where the tiles meet. The gap is wide enough to slide my fingers in.

What would be the best method to seal the gap?

Thanks!

Re: How to seal gap between rangehood and wall?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Niwlat. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about filling a gap.

The gap looks too large to fill with silicone. Perhaps a small timber beading could be secured in place with Liquid Nails to fill the majority of the gap. Once the beading is in place, you can fill any remaining small gaps between it and the rangehood or wall with silicone.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
