How to repair kitchen benchtop?
I need some advice.
The panels of the kitchen top has lost the glue (I think), and some of them are not stick together.
I like to check if there is anyway we can repair it and what products are best to refresh the benchtop as well?
I have attached some pics for your info.
Much appreciate it.

Re: How to repair Kitchen Benchtop
Hello @Sunda
Thank you for sharing your question about repairing your kitchen benchtop. IN order to repair your benchtop, the old adhesive must be removed and the sides sanded down flat do that they can be reglued again properly. I propose using Gorilla 236ml Wood Glue to join the flat pieces of the timber together in combination with IRWIN 915mm Quick-Grip Heavy Duty Bar Clamp or Grunt 25mm x 3m Ratchet Tie Down Straps - 4 Pack to compress the benchtop together.
To refresh the benchtop, it will need to be sanded down and repainted to your preferred finish. I also suggest having a look at this discussion - How to restore an old Oak table? by @katemckenzie95.
