Unfortunately my oak dining table has white water marks on it. Can you tell me how to remove them please?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Heleng. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing staining from a clear coating.
If the marks have penetrated deeply into the coating, you're likely going to need to sand it back to remove them before re-applying a finish to the table. If the marks have not penetrated the coating too deeply, you might be able to buff them out with any number of home remedies. Have you tried polishing the area? You could even try some fine steel wool to see if you can remove the mark. The area will become dull, and you'll need to polish it to restore the sheen.
