How to fix scratches on mirrored glass splashback?
Hi all,
In our kitchen we have a grey mirrored glass splash back.
The previous owners have appeared to clean it with a stainless steel scouring pad, leaving light scratches all over.
What is the best way to polish these out? Or will any polishing ruin the mirrored finish?

Re: How to fix scratches on mirrored glass splashback?
Hello @A3204
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Its sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your mirror splashback.
Because of the delicate nature of your splashback, I’d recommend reaching out to a professional glass restoration specialist. They have the right tools and expertise to safely remove the scratches and restore the finish without risking further damage.
While it might be tempting to try a DIY fix, mirrored glass is tricky to work with, and it's easy to accidentally affect the reflective surface. If you do decide to handle the splashback yourself, please be extra careful—glass can be unpredictable, and too much pressure or an accidental knock could cause it to crack or shatter. Always wear proper protective gear, like gloves and goggles, to keep yourself safe.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
