I'd suggest using Selleys 50ml Kwik Grip Crystal Clear Contact Adhesive.
Make sure both surfaces are free from dust and debris and perfectly dry. Apply the contact adhesive to both surfaces and spread it evenly using a 100mm Sharp Edge Paint Scraper. Allow it to dry for 15 minutes before pushing the two surfaces together, working from left to right.
The glue should bond well enough to hold itself in place. But if it pulls apart slightly, use some painter's tape to hold it down until it sets.
