Hello everyone,
I have a leaking issue in my kitchen. I have changed whole set of tap, which including the vale, red o ring and spindle. However, it is still leaking. No matter how hard I turn it off.
Can anyone give me some clue about how to fix this problem? Many thanks
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @flower800429. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a leaking tap.
I presume this leak is coming out of the tap spout. If so, since you've replaced everything else, it sounds like the tap seat is uneven or cracked, and the tap valve cannot seal against it. If that's the case, you must grind the seat with this tap reseater tool. It will grind away the uneven surface so the tap valve can seal. If it is a cracked seat, this tool won't necessarily help, and you'd need to enlist the services of a plumber to change the fitting in the wall.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
