The tiler added a board to put the backsplash tiles on the wall and left a large gap behind the stovetop.
Any suggestions to cover the gap are welcome.
Hi @KarynM,
Thank you for your question.
The bottom edge of your tiles can be sealed with SikaSeal Kitchen And Bathroom Silicone Sealant in a colour of your choosing.
The gap looks a bit wide, so you may need to stick some Gap Filler Rod to the wall before applying your bead of silicone over the top. This will prevent the silicone from falling through the gap.
Have a look at How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance on the application process.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
