How to connect benchtop dishwasher to cold water supply?
so I am trying to connect my benchtop dishwasher to the cold water supply and have run across a few issues. From what I can tell they used to be a dishwasher connected but I'm not sure if I can connect in the same spot where the old one was. at my previous house I used a splitter valve thingy so that I could connect the cold water tap and the dishwasher simultaneously. This seems to already have an isolation valve that might be suitable but there is nowhere to attach the pipe. I have attached a picture of What The and of the isolation valve. Looks like I have attached a picture of What The and of the isolation valve Looks like

Re: how to connect benchtop dishwasher to cold water supply
I think you are right you should be able to connect to that outlet. It looks to me a hose was attached there and some one has cut the water hose off see the grey inner bit.
So Try undoing the end brass nut this should come off giving you a thread to attch you diswasher to and your in business. You may need a size diverence adapter as it looks like you dish washer inlet is larger diameter?
Hope this works for you.

Hi @silliestofgeese,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
I'd be cautious attempting anything with this fitting as copper pipe usually indicates a pressurised line and this is not really a standard fitting you would attach a dishwasher to.
Unfortunately, I think you should contact a plumber for assistance with this one.
