A wall in my kitchen was looking a little bare, while the bench was looking cluttered so I made some slim shelves using Pine moulding.
I measured & cut the moulding on an angle to create a neat corner and attached the tops & bottoms together using liquid nails & screws.
Then I painted them and attached them to the wall with liquid nails.
Lastly I used selleys no gaps to fill any gaps and to give it a clean finished look. 👌🏻
What a nifty solution, @prettyliving!
I love how slimline and unimposing they are. If the shelves were any chunkier, they would be quite overpowering in this space.
Many thanks for sharing and including details of the shelves' construction. I'm sure any of our members that wish to replicate your project will appreciate the added details.
Great work.

Thank you @MitchellMc I’m very happy with how they turned out. It’s so nice to have some bench space again 👌🏻
This looks awesome!
Hi @prettyliving,
Your shelves are such a beautiful and simple project, thank you for sharing this!
As a side note, I am really loving your backsplash. The texture on it makes it sparkle.
