Can marine ply be used for kitchen cabinet doors?

Can I use marine ply for the cabinet doors in my kitchen renovation?

Also what would be the paint to use in this situation? I like a two pack finish but unsure if this is best.

I like that idea Dave and will have a look at Bunnings website to see what they have that might fit the space. I wonder if I will ever get to start this project as there are so many ideas to explore!

Afternoon @marianmade

Sketch it out, add $$$ prices to the bits you will need, it really helps narrow down what you really want

And yep to the so many ideas!

Hi @marianmade,

Kaboodle doors are entirely vacuum sealed in vinyl, preventing any moisture entry. They don't have any seams where water can penetrate, unlike laminate coatings. It's a very robust coating that stands up well in a kitchen. General wear and tear will not compromise the coating.

That’s very reassuring Mitchell. Thanks again.
