Whats the quickest and cheapest way to prepare a level base to set these recycled brick pavers in mortar? I want to use white mortar and white wash thanks!
Hi @Ona-Budget,
Thank you for your question.
The quickest and cheapest way to create a base for your brick paver garden edge is to excavate a trench 100mm deep and around 100mm wider than your pavers, add road base to the trench and compact it with a tamper. Check for level as you compact with a spirit level.
Once your base is prepared, you can lay your brick pavers, using the wet mortar to make fine adjustments to the level.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
