I’m hoping someone can tell me what the name of the plant in the photos is. I got given it by a neighbor who didn’t know what it is.
Any ideas?

Great to see you make your first post @Mepro. Welcome aboard.
I take it the flower is from your neighbour's garden? Do you know what the foliage looks like?
My first guess was a frangipani, but they don't have stamen, so that's not right. I'll leave it to our more knowledgeable green thumbs in the community such as @Adam_W, @Branchy249 and @robchin.
Good luck with identifying the flower.

Hi @robchin,
Here’s a photo of the plant from my neighbor. He didn’t know what it was either. Could it be Jasmine?
Wild guess, it looks a bit like an Azalea of some sort, possibly Azalea Autumn Lily. Not sure though, I haven't got very green thumbs.
Good luck, Roy
Reverse image search on Google thinks its a Pseuderanthemum variabile
You can compare here: Pseuderanthemum variabile (R.Br.) Radlk.
What do you think?
Thanks Deanna!
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. The question now is, do I want it in my garden? It sounds like it may turn into a pest.
Thank you you so much for helping solve this mystery.
