Hi,
I need to clear some vegetation that went a bit out of control on our block: high grass, some tough weedy stuff, branches that fell of trees... I am a complete newbie and was wondering what would be the best tool to get the job done Thanks for your help
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @yannrandri. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about clearing scrub.
The majority of the longer grass and smaller weeds look like they'd be taken care of by running a lawnmower over them. You might need to do two passes, one at full height and the next lower. Obviously, you'll need to pick up all the fallen branches before you start.
Once the property has been mowed, you can look at removing any more significant scrub/tough weedy stuff. A Ryobi 25.4cc 2 Stroke Easy Start Brushcutter would be perfect for that and will make short work of the job. Of course, you could do the lot with the brushcutter, but it would save time if you can mow the bulk of it down.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
