Hi peoples is winter time best to put up a shade cloth for bromeliads
Hello @Cr2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your bromeliads.
Bromeliads are tolerant of both cold and warm temperatures. They also love the sun, but not direct afternoon sunlight. If you're plants are getting too much sun, I suggest getting a shade cloth with at least a 50% rating like the Coolaroo 3.66m Wide White 50% Garden Cover Shade Cloth. It's made from heat set non shrink fabric and is perfect for garden cover.
Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @mich1972 for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @mich1972
Thanks for sharing that information, it would probably be necessary down here in Queensland as the afternoon sun still gets quite intense in the afternoon. Mind you we've been having a bit of cold weather this past week.
Eric
@EricL Oh for sure !!! Your beautiful tropical weather up there mate. So, are you getting a bit chilly at the moment LOL !!!
Hi @mich1972
It has been chilly for the last two weeks and seeing that we are heading into June, I don't see the temperatures going down any time soon.
