Garden wall and slat fencing using Maubou timber.
Steel 90x90 galvanised posts from footings through retaining blocks.
Used 20mm aluminium channels for the maubau slats and cut own spacers between each slat.
1) dumped 4 loads top soil into property
2) dug entire approx 46 m footings ( digger)
3 ) hand dug deeper where the posts was going into with steel rods coming up to 600 mm above ground.
4) mixed dry concrete and put into trench
5) layed first row of versablocks with half block below ground.made sure they where level and followed two other layers above. Filling each row in between with blue stone . Pillars inserted and filled with quick set concrete..
6) top row was half filled with blue stone .
7) inserted steel rods for entire length of wall and used mixed concrete to fill.
9) 😎capping was glued down.
screwed 20mm Chanel’s to side of galvanised posts.
painted posts and Channel black.
10) cut Maubau timber to fit between posts.
11) used off cuts to cut spacers..
12) finally screwed maubau to aluminium channels.
13)placed drain coil inside of retaining wall and connected to drain and backfilled with excess blue stone and back filled
14/ levelled out top soil
15) planted couch grass.

Your garden wall looks excellent and frames the look of your house very well. The slat timber fencing gives it a nice organic touch softening up the solid elements of your house. A beautiful combination all around.
