Can I install a short handle on Ozito pole trimmer?

Hi community. I have the Ozito pole trimmer with the hedge clip and mini chainsaw heads. I really like this tool, however I often want to do stuff that’s closer to me and the pole is too long and unwieldy. Is there a short version of the handle part so I don’t need to buy 2 whole new tools?

Thanks,

OG

Re: Ozito pole trimmer question

Hi @oldgirlhavnago

I know  what you mean some times you need the shorter version.

I think  the only  way to possible think about solving your problem is if you  have  the operating space (as you might be in some sort of  corner and you cant move possibly.)

Operating space will allow you to cut to the left  closer stuff first then you have room to move left and  cut to the right with out having to try get the cutting head in closer too you for awkard  close cuts

I bought my  wife a mini  hand  chain saw  and some power secuters I cant stop her  getting out into the garden now.

Some times the right tool is the  best choice to make  your life easier,  Try buy the same  brand tools so the chargers and batteries are more interchangable in the same  brand.  Batteries are half the tools  cost.

Hope this  helps.

Re: Ozito pole trimmer question

Hi @oldgirlhavnago,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a pole trimmer or pole saw in Ozito's range that has interchangeable poles.

For closer stuff, manual tools such as Trojan Compact Hedge Shears and this Cyclone 21" Bow Saw are cost-effective ways to achieve the same result.

Alternatively, the Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Hedge Trimmer and Ozito PXC 18V Brushless Pruning Chainsaw are reasonably priced options on Ozito's PXC battery platform.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
