Thank you for sharing your question about turning your lawn back to green and normal.
I suggest aerating the lawn to loosen up the compacted earth. Manually remove all the weeds that are visible using a Cyclone Multi-Surface Weeder Long Timber Handle. Follow it up by putting on Seasol Lawn Top Dress Mix 25L to give it a boost of nutrients. Make sure to spread it evenly using a 44cm Plastic Leaf Rake. If you have areas with large dead patches those areas may need to be repaired. Make sure to have a scheduled watering routine for your turf.
