Hi @suemack,

Let me extend a very warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.

Let me tag the ever-helpful @Noelle for her thoughts on how to revive your plant. Noelle recently shared a helpful guide with the community How to diagnose and revive a sick lilly pilly. Bunnings also has the guide How to maintain healthy lilly pillies.

Hi @suemack

Burnt and dead shoots are always best removed, as they are not going to revive! Trim back to just behind the burned leaves to encourage the growth buds lower on stems and branches to grow.

Tip pruning is not usually stressful for plants.
