How to store Bunnings receipts?

If you’re referring to storing the receipt in your car’s dashboard, I’d advise against it, as these thermal receipts tend to fade quickly when exposed to heat, light, and moisture. A better option is to take a clear photo of the receipt and store it on your phone or computer, where you can easily access it if needed for warranty claims or returns.

For future purchases, you can request a digital receipt at checkout, and we’ll send it directly to your phone via SMS. This way, you won’t need to worry about physical receipts fading or getting lost, and you’ll have a copy securely saved in your device.

I just thought I'd add that when you do ask for a digital receipt, you can then search for past receipts within your account on the Bunnings webpage. You'll find that feature under your account in the top right corner, and then the store receipts option.

No worries, I’d be happy to guide you! Since you didn’t request a digital receipt at the time of purchase, the simplest way to store your receipt is to take a clear photo of it with your phone. 

Here's how:

• Take a photo: Open the camera app on your phone and take a picture of the receipt. Make sure the entire receipt is visible, especially the barcode, as that will be helpful for returns or warranty claims.

• Save the photo: Once the photo is taken, you can either save it in your phone’s gallery or move it into a folder that you can easily access (such as a folder named “Receipts” or “Bunnings Receipts”).

• In-store assistance: If you ever need to return the item or make a warranty claim, you can show the photo of your receipt to our team in-store, and they’ll be able to help you. 

The next time you shop at Bunnings, you can simply ask for a digital receipt at checkout. This will be sent directly to your phone via SMS or email, so you won’t have to worry about storing a physical receipt at all or taking a picture. You can then save the digital copy to your phone. If you request a digital receipt and have a Bunnings website account, you can look up and track your receipts from there. Simply sign into your account on the Bunnings website, click on 'My Account' in the top right corner, and in the drop-down list that appears, select 'Store receipts'. You'll then be able to search all the previous receipts you've requested a digital copy of.
