This is the backyard of our newly built house. House sits on a mildly sloping land. Hence, builder did couple of sleepers. With last weeks rain there are holes in land as soil going thorough gaps in sleepers i guess. I am desperate for some solution for this before getting any worse.
Thank you

Hi @elizabethalex,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I'd suggest digging out a trench behind the sleepers around 300mm deep and wide and attaching some GRUNT 1 x 10m Non Woven Geotextile Membrane Drain Mat Fabric to the back of the sleepers with Galvanised Staple Nails. The geotextile membrane should sit just above the soil line and be draped down into the trench. This will allow water to drain through while preventing the soil from eroding.
While your trench is dug, it would definitely be worth installing some subsoil drainage in the form of a french drain to divert any water to a suitable location or stormwater outlet.
Check out How to install garden drainage for some guidance on the materials and process required.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
