Re: How to revive Mulberry plant?

Hi @kiranraob4u

I dont think  your mulberry is  sick/deasesed

But if your experiencing the latest hot weather many plants have felt that and suffered like  what your mulbery looks like.

I would water the root zone twice daily once in the  evening for a coulpe of  days a good  slow soak 5 mins soaking not the leaves  (as too much water on the leaves and humidity can develop mould issues not yet on your  plant.)

I would  use some shade cloth held over you  bush during this higher heat as it is a young plant and not as deeply rooted to avoid dehydration. Once establish more should be more hardy.

Re: Mulberry Plant

Hi @kiranraob4u,

As @Jewelleryrescue has said, your mulberry plant doesn't look like it's in too much trouble. It could be an issue with watering or a nutrient deficiency, but it's hard to tell.

At this time, you should focus on bringing up the overall health of your mulberry bush through consistent watering, an application of fertilizer and a plant tonic.

It's best not to commit to a specific watering schedule unless you are well aware of how your soil drains and how much water your plant takes. Water deeply and then check the top 5cm of soil before watering again. If the soil is still damp, wait a day before checking again. If it is dry, go ahead and water your plant.

In the short term, apply some Seasol Complete Garden Health Treatment, following the manufacturer's instructions for mixing. This is a plant tonic that will give your plant some quick absorbing nutrients to get it back on its feet.

For longer-term fertilisation, apply some Scotts Osmocote All Purpose Controlled Release Fertiliser. This will slowly release the nutrients it needs for longer-term health.

Have a read through How To Grow A Mulberry Tree for some additional guidance.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
