My old garden bed retention  walls are rotten. it's heavy sleeper wood.

It's too heavy. Bunning promotes plastic retention wall. How to use it?

Re: garden mention wall replacement

Hello @Honest52

I'm sorry to hear your garden sleepers are starting to deteriorate. The fibre reinforced polymer sleepers you are referring to is called the FITTA 1970 x 51 x 200mm FRP Essential Sleeper. They are lightweight weighing only 5.6kg and will fit into standard galvanised sleeper posts

The other model which is longer is called the FITTA 200 x 51mm 2.4m Charcoal Composite Sleeper - Charcoal. This is a full composite panel which is heavier and weighs 18.2kg.

These panels can be installed in the same manner as standard sleepers, if you wish to cut them just make sure the blade you are using for your circular saw is rated for multi-materials.

Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when working on your project.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
