Hi there, I’ve just today bought one of these and while I’m happy enough with it, I believe it could do with some reinforcement at the edges holding up the aluminium sheets. They are plastic and only held in place with a top cap, no similar clamp or other item at the bottom edges. I was thinking some sort of sealant or even just high strength superglue to adhere the sheets to the edges and caps. Keen to hear suggestions or better options if anybody can help me out. Thanks very much in advance.
Hi @heychikadee,
Provided the product has been assembled correctly, there is no need to add adhesive to the corners. They've been tested by the supplier and they haven't identified any issues with them coming apart. However, if you wished to to so, I'd recommend you use Sikaflex 11FC, which should provide additional strength to the corners.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Great thanks for that!
Yes I’m sure it’s been tested and all, however I just want to be extra sure because it’s partly being used to block a gap under my fence so my cats can’t escape.
