Hello All
After some advice on what is the best way to get rid of Agapantha. Whipper Snipper wont make much of a dent. So what gardening tool can slash this? Also to get rid of the roots what sort of chemical is ideal with out poisoining the soil?
Thanks and hope the topic is relevant for this forum admin.
I'm really late here, but PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THE PLANTS TO SOMEONE ELSE.
These are horrible weeds across most of Australia, especially in coastal areas, and are very difficult to get rid of. Remove them and send them to landfill - don't let them live!!!
Hi @travellingdeon,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.
Yes, Agapanthus are considered noxious weeds in some regions, so it would be worthwhile checking their status in your area before deciding on a method of disposal.
If they are considered noxious weeds in your region, it would be best to destroy them instead of passing them on to others.
Thank you for your post.
