Just wondering how to grow my Pothos and where to find more Pothos other then Bunnings
Hello @steph123
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Thank you for joining us and sharing your question about how to grow Pothos.
The Pothos Totem - Epipremnum aureum is a very hardy indoor plant and requires no special care once inside your home. It can acclimate very quickly to any indoor setting. It is also considered one of the best plants to use to purify the air inside your home. It can also be trained to climb using the Whites 75cm Black Cone Plant Trainer or a Lattice Makers 600 x 1800mm Treated Pine Lattice - 1800mm x 600mm x 11mm.
However, if you wish to propagate Pothos you’ll need to cut a few 10 to 15cm pieces of the healthy stem from an established vine. Each piece should have at least four leaves and one node, which is that bump where the stems send out all-new growth. Place the stems in a glass jar with water and making sure that the water line goes past the node. Place the jar and stems in indirect sunlight, it will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks for the roots to grow, and once you have 3 to 4cm of roots growing you may transfer it to a pot with potting mix.
Due to the current restrictions in place, one of the possible places you can get mature Pothos plants was at the flea market. At the moment your only current avenue is to search the internet.
