The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Hi @Akshaybun,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Could you provide some further context?
Are you looking to remove the weeds and install turf? Is this a dirt driveway or path that you don't want anything growing in?
If it is bare earth, it is unavoidable for weeds to grow. The seeds are within the soil and will continue to reappear unless you really damage the soil, which you don't want to do. You can remove them by hand using a Cyclone Extract Weeder or Saxon Hand Weeder, or you can use a non-selective herbicide such as Yates 1L 490g/L Zero Weed Killer Super Concentrate, but please note this will kill everything and should not be used anywhere near plants you want.
If you are looking to lay turf, I'd suggest using a Rotary Tiller to turn the soil and mulch the weeds into it before laying turf over the top.
Ground coverings such as decorative stones are also good. You can lay some weed mat and then cover it with decorative stones. This is an aesthetic way of preventing weeds that might work for you.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
